Participation in the Ukulele Club is completely free. Members are encouraged to bring their own ukuleles, but are also welcome to bring other instruments of their choice to contribute to a diverse and inclusive musical experience.

Originating from a desire to break the monotony of practicing music alone and making it more engaging, Kapiolani invited a few friends to collaborate. Starting with a small group of three, the community gradually expanded, bringing together individuals who share a passion for making music together.
Hosted our very first community concert, featuring a total of eight performers. The event showcased a delightful mix of ukulele, violin and keys.
Our final concert of the year was a celebration of growth and progress. With more music learned and confidence gained, we performed a broader repertoire of songs. It was a proud moment that reflected the dedication and enthusiasm of our members.
Building on collective feedback from our first season and with renewed and improved structure,we’re excited to launch the second season of the club,with a greater focus on empowering youth to take initiative and lead the way themselves.
